Editorial and review method
This page explains how the project prepares formulas, calculators, examples and translations. The aim is to provide understandable, verifiable results without replacing datasheets, measurements or professional engineering.
How we prepare a calculator
Each tool starts from an electrical relationship stated on the page. We define input and output units, conversions, valid ranges, invalid cases and rounding. We add numerical examples and warnings where tolerance, temperature or dissipation may change a real-world result.
Checks we perform
- Comparison with manual calculations and known test cases.
- Automated checks for JavaScript, links, metadata and structured data.
- Verification of SI units and prefixes.
- Review of technical translations and calculator messages.
Sources and references
We use established electronics formulas, the BIPM International System of Units, applicable standard value series and manufacturer datasheets. For a specific component, its datasheet always remains the primary reference.
Updates and corrections
Pages are updated when features, references or checks change. Reproducible errors can be reported through the Contact page with the URL, input values, actual result and expected result.
Advertising independence
Future advertising will be separate and clearly identifiable. Advertisers and advertising platforms will not determine formulas, results, examples or editorial assessments.
